Model: Call for Artists

The Phoenix Urban Research Laboratory (PURL) at Arizona State University (ASU) announces a call for artists and designers to re-imagine PURL’s physical model of downtown Phoenix.

National Trust Field Survey

The Phoenix Urban Research Lab (PURL) is looking for 6-8 volunteers to be involved with a project of the National Trust for Historic Buildings, surveying buildings with retrofit potential.  A description is below.

Students would attend one meeting in December, but the real work would start in January. It will involve 10 hrs/week for 8 weeks. There will be full training of all students, starting in early January.

Participants could work with Emily Talen to earn Independent Study credit in connection with their contributions to the project.
