Arianne Gelardin is a renegade urban designer, educator, community activist and writer. She received a Masters of Landscape Architect from Rhode Island School of Design, where she was awarded the Graduate Studies Grant to run her original project, DCUrbY, an after school design thinking workshop for middle school kids. She currently lives in San Francisco, where she works with Rebar Group, an interdisciplinary studio that operates at the intersection of urban design, landscape architecture, art and ecology. Arianne’s work is focused on user-generated design of multiple scales, from print material to public space.
